Kim and I visited Varri Green Farm and Met
Sal & Holly (They're pictured below). When we arrived they
were hard at work preparing for the tour of their Organic
farm.
"We
pick our produce right before each of our markets to insure
the nutritional value is of the highest quality, and that our
vegetables are as fresh as possible. Our intent is to remain
small farmers so that we may serve our local communities the
VARRI freshest and healthiest in-season produce, while also
protecting our land and Lake Okeechobee from the unnecessary
and harmful usage of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and
fertilizers."
